Suzanne Roberts has worked as a trainer, speaker, and facilitator for small and large corporations, businesses, and non-profits since 1979. She coaches leaders to become inspiring, on purpose, resilient, and effective in their perspective domains. She is the founder and principal of UnifyingSolutions.
Suzanne completed training at Strozzi Institute, (The Center for Embodied Leadership and Mastery) and earned the title of Master Somatic Leadership Coach, where she served on the faculty. Early in her career, Suzanne combined studies in pre-med, psychology, and dance/movement and earned a degree in Holistic Health. She is certified in the FEBI (Focus Energy Balance Indicator), an organizational and leadership assessment tool, Decision-Wise 360, and the Enneagram.
She served on the Board of Directors of the Center for Wholeness, was Co-Chair of the Ohio Aids Coalition and an adjunct faculty member of Antioch West. She served as Secretary for 7 Circles of Hope. She runs a yearlong leadership Training at Marion Correctional Institution in the reintegration unit.
While working with businesses and organizations, Suzanne conducted a Timely-Relevant Feedback survey and interviewed CEOs, senior executives and managers in non-profit organizations, corporations and entrepreneurships/small businesses. She developed a Timely-Relevant Feedback Guide and Training Manual, promoting organizational and personal leadership as well as business success.
Suzanne developed Women Generating as a public course to help develop and empower women leaders. Through working with women, she saw a need to reach girls to foster greater confidence and positive leadership. She customized programming for girls, creating curriculum for KIPP Academy 8th Grade Girls, Capital City Charter School, Columbus School for Girls, and Dominion Middle School.
She developed Safe Conversation About Race with Jim White, and has offered public “Fireside Chats” in partnership with the YWCA, Pizzuti Colelction, and The Columbus Foundation. She has brought this work into organizations, education, and team developemnt. Her passion to address issues around diversity and inclusion has led her to unify cultures of organizations across difference, and to ensure that there is sufficient diversity in leadership within all levels of organizations.
